Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) – West Lancashire
The West Lancashire Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme is funded by the Department for Education and delivered in partnership by SHARES Lancashire, West Lancashire Sport Partnership, West Lancashire Borough Council and Lancashire County Council. Together, we provide vital support to children and families during the Spring, Summer, and Winter school holidays.
We deliver engaging, free holiday activities alongside nutritious meals for children and families across West Lancashire. Sessions are designed for school-aged children from Reception age to Year 11 who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals, ensuring they enjoy fun, enriching experiences while receiving a healthy meal.
A wide range of local providers make this programme possible, offering activities such as multi-sports, dance, football, arts and crafts, circus skills, aerial acrobatics, pottery, forest school experiences, STEM activities, and more.
Winter HAF Bookings
To book HAF sessions, families will need an e-voucher code, sent by text or email from hello@holidayactivities.com.
E-codes for Christmas HAF will be issued on 24 November 2025.

Lancashire County Council works with schools to issue HAF voucher codes to eligible families. If you believe you should have received a code but haven’t, please contact your child’s school in the first instance.

Winter Food Boxes – Order Online
As part of the Winter HAF offer, eligible families can also request a FREE Winter Food Box, designed to support households over the festive break with fresh ingredients and cupboard staples.
