West Lancashire Parks and Countryside Spaces
West Lancashire Ranger service works to look after and enhance our countryside and urban sites, while encouraging and promoting the proper use of the locations.
We run ranger events and activities all year round, ranging from Junior Rangers Club to Fungi and Foraging events. We have also created a series of free walks covering routes across West Lancashire.
Make sure you visit Beacon Country Park! The flagship countryside site consisting of over 300 acres of rolling countryside spread across the slopes of Ashurst Beacon between Upholland, Dalton and Skelmersdale, the site boasts multiple play areas and a dog friendly café.
